Thin Black Mountain Silver Ring
The Black Mountain Ring is one of my favorites to make, the overall aesthetic of the band comes from the tension between dark textured channels and the polished peaks. The ring is hand sculpted into a sand mould and then liquid sterling silver poured in. The whole thing is then blackened before refined and polished to finish. This piece is inspired by the black volcanic mountains of Iceland. Unlike other blackened silver rings that will lose there surface after a while, this ring will last a life time without changing. As your hands gently buff the surface of the band, they will help to keep the polished high points clean and bright but the blackened channels will remain untouched.
 
This ring is a slim 3.5mm making slightly more delicate and ideal for smaller sizes (A-M)
