My wedding rings are uniquely designed and handmade in Wales, each one is finished to the highest standard, making your product not only a piece of jewellery but a work of art. My handmade rings range from delicate, through to large and bold, they are all individually created for you. I also offer the creation of custom wedding rings, in any deisng, width or carat, so if you want something that doesn't have a specific listing, just ask.
All my designs are sand cast and all my gold and silver wedding rings are made from 100% recycled precious metals which has been ethically sourced from the UK and professionally refined. When finished, each piece is verified with a British Hallmarked to confirm purity.

What is Sand Casting?
Sand Casting is an ancient technique which has been used for hundreds of years and was originally developed by the Egyptians.
The process starts with a sand mould being individually created for each ring. Hot precious metal such as gold or silver is then hand poured into the sand mould and allowed to cool. The ring is then broken apart to reveal the ring.
No two designs will ever be the same as the sand imparts a unique texture onto the ring. You can also send me a pinch of sand from a beach or place that is special to you, which will be used to create a unique texture onto your ring.
The ring is then hand finished and polished to your choice producing something truly unique, made for you, by me. You can choose from an elegant matte finish that is non-reflective that looks more organic, or you can go for a high shine for a more traditional looking piece.
The care given throughout the whole process, reflects our passion in providing you with a unique and professional, handmade welsh wedding ring that is both beautiful and comfortable.
A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS
WoodenGold is a family run business together with Lisa, my wife of seven years, our son Caleb and daughter Elina. Our team has grown as our family has grown with me (Stephen) as goldsmith, Lisa running online communication with our customers. Together, we work to give you a great experience from our family in the Welsh Valleys to yours.
Every handmade ring is produced in The WoodenGold Workshop located Porth, in the Rhondda Valleys, Wales, Great Britain.
Every Gold ring will arrive in a single piece wooden ring box made from Black Walnut, which is packaged in wooden compostable material with a WoodenGold polishing cloth and a note from me. Your box will then be placed in a recyclable padded envelope.
Every Silver band will come in a recycled card box, which is tied with ribbon and sealed with the WoodenGold seal. Your box will then be placed in a recyclable padded envelope
