Thin Hand Hammered Silver Ring
This Ring is made by pouring sterling silver into a sand mould and then hammering to get it to size. It is then refined and polished until it reaches the desired effect. It is the forging process that gives this piece its character.
The ring is inspired by the clean cut facets of precious stones. The shining planes of the surface are scattered with grain and texture from the casting process. The two elements coming together give a geometric yet rustic look, kind of like an old gemstone or a natural crystal.
